Famous Footwear is a family business that started when a former Myer shoe buyer fell in love with a supplier.
The two founders mission was make stylish shoes affordable for more women than served by the up market competition.
The business first operated from Carrara markets but because of its ability to buy great womens shoes at great prices and pass those on, Famous Footwear quickly grew to over 30 stores across Australia.
In the stores there are many customer facing roles and it is really important that we greet and offer to help our customers find the right shoe for their occasion, not just make a sale.
Typically retail careers start as casual positions before moving up to regional and state management roles.
At the warehouse and head office in Molendinar on the Gold Coast there are warehousing, admin, customer service, marketing and management roles.
The workplace is flexible and friendly and you will enjoy making new friends and helping customers.
